Manifest All Beliefs (MAB) is a lifestyle and clothing brand that embodies the idea of cultivating one's goals to achieve a successful and fruitful life through sharing and connecting people with genuine experiences. MAB works towards providing products that are of durable and sustainable quality. The brand's other purpose is to motivate people to think about what they value and how it relates to their path. With reflection can come the inspiration to take those first steps towards manifesting your beliefs.
This branding project began in Milanote, a website that allows the designer to build a foundation, communicate and share ideas with the client to fully understand the brand's mission, values, vision, and purpose. After going through some questions with the client about their brand, I constructed this mood board to represent the feel of these core principles. The client's goal for this brand is to spread the message of MAB and share the experiences of others' accomplishments in hopes that it motivates and inspires anyone who wants to manifest a positive change.
While discovering what the company's goals, challenges, and brand attributes are we create a customer identity and apply it using brand strategy. Every brand wants to sell to as many people as possible, but if they do not have a clear idea of who their customer market can be initially, they will not know where to begin marketing their brand. Building these brand personas helps the client pinpoint where to start and serves the designer as a reminder of whom they are designing for.
After the mood board was approved by the client, I created a more refined version of the elements shown in the style scape above. The style scape does not include an official logo or products. It served as a reference in the creation of the brand identity to communicate the brand's message properly.
Now that we have gained valuable insight into the core properties, the brand's attributes, and have references to guide us through the designing process it's time to create the logo, mockups, and files that can be used in relation to the brand's products. The logo should be identifiable and less explanatory.
The client wanted a bold logo with cuts that incorporate a hidden meaning. A path that many people experience on the road towards accomplishing their goals is commonly one that fluctuates and requires dedication, motivation, and growth to succeed. The red line represents those obstacles that appear on an individual's path, one with highs and lows to overcome. That was then implemented into the hidden cuts that the client requested.
The client wanted to create a post or a story to reveal the brand but did not have products ready for release. So MAB could either post a story revealing their brand with the color scheme, or they can post around 5 or more photos revealing their logo in different variations of their color scheme. The post idea would be to show the logo on different colored "shirts" within the brand color scheme. The process of choosing the best color matches to reveal, without having repetition, took 100+ tries and color match-ups. The client was left with 55 different color scheme variations to use on future product designs.
